Colors from the alchemist’s kitchen
In my paintings I extract by way of elementary applications of paint the potential of states of matter in color. Thinly layered fluid paint clots over dry to opaque crystallizations, thus forming manifestations of pasty fragmented slag to evaporate again back to its ethereal translucent initial state. Inevitably these processes continuously ignite figurative and spatial hallucinations.
